Vladivar - Live Unbottled
A brand
that likes to target young adults, Vladivar flirted with the idea of re-positioning itself to better appeal to
its TG. So we came up with a campaign that had its roots in the young Indian’s thirst
for self-expression. Edgy, rebellious and tongue-in-cheek, the campaign positioned the
brand as the flag bearer of the young and restless.
The campaign
comprised posters, on-ground and online engagement activities.
CaratLane
For most Indian
men, proposals are a Western concept. Weddings may be grand but proposals are not given the same
importance. Often, the man doesn’t even propose. CaratLane, India’s largest online jeweller, wanted to own the proposal space and make the proposal a sacred ritual.
The campaign was
targeted at men, encouraging them to propose before they got
married (even if it was an arranged
marriage). With a CaratLane solitaire, of course.
A television
commercial launched the campaign and was followed by a couple of print
ads.

The launch campaign
was followed by product ads. The brand still spoke to men but the communication was designed
depending on the products / occasion that the brand wanted to highlight.
Louis Philippe - AW 12 Campaign
Louis Philippe had
positioned itself as a fashion brand that was for the ‘truly discerning’. Post
the main brand campaign that communicated this stance, we worked on a brand campaign that focused on
individual products (shoes, shirts, trousers, and suits). The message remained the same -
Louis Philippe is for people of a certain stature; people who understand even the
minute details about the finer things in life.
Jockey - Jockey or Nothing
Jockey India
identified with the mantra of ‘No Compromise’ and wanted to encourage people to settle for nothing but the
best - Jockey or Nothing.
The campaign comprised 5 TV commercials, followed by an outdoor campaign (brand and product).

Jockey - Shop from your Comfort Zone
Post the Jockey or Nothing campaign, Jockey wanted to launch their E-store with the proposition - Shop from your Comfort Zone - with an on-ground/digital campaign targeted at young adults. Through this campaign, they wanted to communicate the fact that now, you could buy Jockey from wherever you were. They also wanted to highlight a few of their most popular products.
Domino’s - Calzone Pockets
Domino’s recently
launched Calzone Pockets. The campaign centred around the thought - Thoda Juicy, Thoda Spicy, and was
done out of Contract Delhi. I wrote the Tamil TVC for the campaign. Which is to
say that I wrote the script and the dialogues in Hindi and had a friend translate it.

Halls - Saans le, Udaan le
Halls wanted a new
television commercial that communicated the brand’s new positioning - Take a Deep Breath. We came up a
variety of situations with nervous protagonists and a Halls lozenge saving
the day. The research results veered towards one in particular. And then Bob and
team at Good Morning Films just took it to a whole new level.

The Namma Bengaluru Foundation is a non-profit
organization that works towards a better Bengaluru. They needed a poster campaign that encouraged young people to vote during the state elections in
